The Market St. Deli Co. was opened in the spring of 1997. "The idea was to give the patrons of the food court a new lunch concept that stressed customer satisfaction, we have a very diverse menu and can build your order exactly to your specifications". The owner Dennis Scott, is a 15 year food service veteran working first for Somma Pizza, and later purchasing the spot where the deli is now, from Mark Somma his previous boss. The menu is constantly evolving and now includes over 25 specialty sandwiches along with fresh salads, wraps, and delicious fresh made soups. The entire menu is available for office catering and to go orders. "If a customer has a great idea for a sandwich they may see it on the menu as was the case with the "Get Hip", "Just Veggin' ", and "What a Trip" Scott says "the customers are our best source for what's hot and they know what they want, so we strive to give them exactly that."
